Fees & Payments


We accept several different payment options for clients with or without insurance. Payments are due at time of service. Our standard rates for services is $150/session as of October 1, 2020. When working with insurance, your payments are subject to deductibles, copayments/coinsurance, and insurance claim payments. Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted for payments. A sliding scale is available based on financial proof of difficulty. 


Accepted Insurances

Most of our licensed staff accept clients with UHC/Optum, Cigna &  Aetna insurance plans as well as self-pay.


 Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the agreed upon rate of $65 for your late cancellation/missed appointment. 


Clinical Assessments 

Our clinical assessments start at $300. The pricing for an assessment is determined by the amount of time it takes to complete the casework and documentation necessary. The cost of $300 covers one hour of clinical interview and 2 hours of documentation/casework. Beyond the initial 3 hours, we charge $50/hour of documented casework. A detailed invoice can be provided upon request and you are notified before any additional charges occur. 


Court Appearances

On occasion, clients request that their counselor appears in court or a subpoena is issued for various reasons. Should this be the case for you, New Directions charges an initial $300 for the first hour and $100 for every additional hour including travel and wait times as well as time spent on the stand. As these fees can be expensive, it is important to carefully plan with your attorney and explain these fees to them
